Job Description

As a key account executive at Moose Direct Marketing, you will help create bespoke customer data management and hyper-targeted 1:1 marketing services programs for business’ and organizations. The position requires an array of talents and skills, including but not limited to a love for technology, the internet, the web, advertising, marketing services, and marketing tech.

This exciting role can best be summed up in two parts.

Part 1 – You will act as an independent account sales representative and manage a new book of business you help build.

Part 2 – You will transition to account executive and act as the point of contact to your clients, seeing programs deployed monthly, and overall acting as their go to “marketing strategist”.

What You’ll Do At Moose Direct

  • Manage multiple accounts, with a focus on driving net new business
  • Manage the same monthly programs you sell to your clients (This IS NOT a technical or development position though), see programs deploy on schedule
  • Creating value propositions, account strategies, visioning, client proposals, and presentations

Who You Are

Passionate about people & technology! You are savvy in tech speak but not a techie. You’re skilled in the sale, talking to customers and closing the deal. You are skilled in the areas of digital marketing, ad tech, customer data management, and custom relationship management. You are hunter sales type and eager to close a deal. Most importantly, you will have a dynamic personality and have the passion to succeed within a highly demanding and challenging environment.

  • Basic knowledge of the concepts of CDP, CRM, DMP
  • A solid grasp on the marketing ad tech space
  • A good understanding and ability to speak to core marketing vehicles like broadcast email, banner display, text based marketing
  • An understanding of the principals of lead generation programs

A big plus (but not required)

  • An understanding of how programmatic advertising works
  • Experience with Hubspot and AdRoll

What You’ve Accomplished

  • You have 3-5 years of hunter mentality sales experience
  • You’ve been entrepreneurial in the past and/or have a hunger for it
  • You’re comfortable and familiar with the independent sales rep model


  • This is a commission only compensation structure
  • Big % of all top line revenue you bring in and manage
  • Our monthly product billing structure means you take home a fluid annual salary, amortized over 12 months and paid out monthly
